This farm, just off Route 62, was established in 1890 with the building of Moreson Manor. This "Volstruis Paleis", built at the height of the ostrich feather boom, and now a private residence, is your reception to the two accommodation options on offer - Zara Cottage and D'Waenhuis. You'll feel quite at home in Zara Cottage, a fully furnished tongue-in-the-cheek look at country living over the past 5 decades, surrounded by art deco furniture and Thinus de Jongh art prints. Alternatively you can stay in D'WaenHuis - a fully restored retro-pioneer building. Submerge yourself in this stylishly contemporary interpretation of the early South African settler trader's lifestyle.
